Cheolwoong Kim Junior Partner
Chulwoong Kim is an attorney with expertisein the ASEAN region, starting his career with Laos business (SK E&C’s Sepian-Senamnoi Hydroelectric Power Plant Project) in 2014, is currently advising various companies to make advance into ASEAN regions through reviewing transaction regulations such as law related on the Cambodia Stock Exchange, and commercial arbitration in Singapore and so on. Mr. Kim has mainly been in charge of overseas expansion of various financial institutions including Korean banks. Mr. Kim’s primary areas of expertise also include project financing, issuance of bond or securities, and merger and acquisitions. Mr. Kim has a distinctive overseas experience and language proficiency in English as a Korean attorney. He completed his bachelor’s degree in University of Michigan Ann Arbor and graduated from Korea University School of Law.
Currently, Mr. Kim serves as an independent director of various financial institutions, and serves as an advisory committee member for overseas medical institutions of the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).
